GROWTH ENDOWMENT PLAN

In 2026, the Board of Directors approved the creation of an Endowment and approved seeding it with $20,000. A policy and plan was established and approved with the goal to raise $4,080,000 endowment in 5 years.

• Assumes average annual growth goal of $816,000 (with compounding and momentum building each year). 

• Plan blends major gifts, annual funding, planned giving, events, and investment growth. 

 The motive is to secure the financial future of our Foundation. The hope is that our Foundation will continue to be financially secure in order to provide protective care to the children of Santa Barbara, Honduras for decades to come.

The fund is managed by two volunteers with years of experience in financial strategy.
