Katie Ryan (45) is a graduate of Wake Forest University (Class of 2002), where she earned a degree in English. She and her husband, David, are the parents of Jack (17), Will (16), and Matt (11).

Katie’s professional background includes teaching students with learning disabilities and serving in multiple leadership roles in ministry and education, including Director of Children’s Ministry at Athens First United Methodist Church and Director of the Weekday Preschool.

She currently serves as the Chair of Missions at Ashford Memorial Methodist Church, where she helps coordinate local and global outreach initiatives. In addition to her work at Ashford, Katie is an active volunteer with Lydia’s Place and Global Samaritans, organizations that reflect her commitment to faith, service, and community engagement
